Data Processed for Online Features

The following data are processed solely to enable online features such as leaderboards, achievements, multiplayer invitations, online multiplayer, and, in the Free Version only, in-app purchases:

Oculus User ID
Username
Profile photo
Leaderboard data and achievements
Invite, group presence, and deep link information needed to create, send, receive, and join multiplayer sessions
Anonymous Unity player identifiers used for Unity Authentication
Relay join codes, connection data, IP/network information, and multiplayer network messages needed to connect and play online
Gameplay state required for multiplayer synchronization, such as player positions, object states, weapons, enemies, waves, and interactions
For online mixed reality multiplayer sessions, the host's device may send a simplified room layout to connected players. This may include spatial information such as walls, floor, ceiling, doors, windows, tables, couches, other detected surfaces or objects, approximate positions, rotations, sizes, and room geometry. This is used so players can experience zombies, obstacles, and gameplay events in the same shared play space. Spatial Zombies and Spatial Zombies Pro do not share the host's passthrough camera image, video, real world textures, or photos with other players.

In-App Purchases

Spatial Zombies Free Version only: the free version may use Meta in-app purchases to let you unlock the Pro version. For this purpose, Meta may process purchase status, product IDs, transaction or entitlement information, and related account data. Spatial Zombies Pro is a paid standalone app and does not use this in-app purchase unlock flow.

Mixed Reality Multiplayer and Spatial Data

Mixed reality multiplayer is optional. If you host or join an online mixed reality multiplayer session, spatial data may be used to align the play space between players. The host's room layout may be shared with connected players as an abstract virtual representation. Players can avoid this processing by not using online mixed reality multiplayer.

Room layout data for online mixed reality multiplayer is processed only to provide the active multiplayer session. We do not permanently store this room layout on our own servers. Connected players receive the room layout only for the multiplayer session, and the data is discarded when the session ends, unless you explicitly choose to send diagnostic files to support.

Support and Diagnostic Files

If you contact support about a technical issue, you may choose to send diagnostic information or exported room layout files to help us understand and fix the problem. Sending such files is optional. We use diagnostic files only for support and debugging, and we delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose.

Meta processes Meta platform data according to their Privacy Policy. Unity processes Unity Gaming Services data according to their Privacy Policy. We use these services only to provide the features described above. We do not sell your personal data.

These local data are stored purely for your convenience and are not shared with third parties.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on this website, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that we have no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.
